Terms of Sale
Version 2026-10-03
These terms apply to purchases made through the Monsters VS Guards store.
The store is operated by Tebex Limited. Payments are processed by Tebex, which acts as the seller of record (Merchant of Record) for each payment. Tebex's own terms also apply to the payment itself.
What the store sells
The store sells digital items and services for the Minecraft server Monsters VS Guards.
These include:
- Stardust, the store's virtual currency;
- VIP and VIP+, permanent ranks;
- Supporter, a monthly subscription;
- global gem boosters;
- Nebulous Crate keys;
- Celestial Crate keys;
- cosmetic items (MVP Sounds).
All of these exist only within Monsters VS Guards and, where applicable, its Discord server. They have no monetary value outside the server and cannot be exchanged for money.
None of them changes a match: no rank, cosmetic or crate gives health, damage, abilities, better crate odds or a better result. Gem boosters increase the gems players earn, within the limits the server sets.
Stardust
Stardust is added to the Minecraft account you are signed in with once the payment is confirmed.
Stardust can be spent on eligible products offered by the server or store. It cannot be transferred to another player.
VIP and VIP+
VIP and VIP+ are one-time purchases and do not expire. VIP+ includes everything VIP gives. An account that already holds a rank is not sold a rank that the rank it holds already includes.
Supporter
Supporter is a monthly subscription and remains active for as long as the subscription is paid.
While Supporter is active, you receive the discount displayed in the store on eligible products.
Supporter includes everything VIP+ gives.
When a Supporter subscription ends normally, you keep VIP+.
This does not apply where Supporter ends because the relevant payment was refunded or charged back. A refund or chargeback of a Supporter payment removes only what that payment gave; a VIP or VIP+ rank bought separately is not affected.
Global gem boosters
Global gem boosters are purchased using Stardust.
A booster begins immediately after purchase and increases gem rewards for every player on the server for the duration shown for that booster.
Crate keys and cosmetics
The store sells keys for two types of Minecraft crates:
- Nebulous Crate
- Celestial Crate
(Earlier versions of these terms also called them the "Deluxe" and "Supreme" crates: Deluxe is the Nebulous Crate and Supreme is the Celestial Crate. They are the same two crates; there are no others.)
Opening one of these crates awards a cosmetic item according to the published rarity probabilities for that crate. The result is decided by the Minecraft server when the crate is opened, with the same probabilities for every player: no rank, permission or purchase changes them. Rank-exclusive cosmetics are never awarded by a crate.
Cosmetics are divided into the following rarity categories:
- Particle
- Radiant
- Pulsar
- Quasar
- Event Horizon
Nebulous Crate
A Nebulous Crate can award cosmetics with the following probabilities:
| Rarity | Chance | | --- | ---: | | Particle | 40% | | Radiant | 30% | | Pulsar | 20% | | Quasar | 8% | | Event Horizon | 2% |
These probabilities total 100%.
Celestial Crate
A Celestial Crate can award cosmetics with the following probabilities:
| Rarity | Chance | | --- | ---: | | Particle | 0% | | Radiant | 25% | | Pulsar | 35% | | Quasar | 30% | | Event Horizon | 10% |
These probabilities total 100%.
A Celestial Crate therefore cannot award a Particle cosmetic.
Duplicates
If a crate awards a cosmetic you already own, it is a duplicate, and you choose once what happens to it:
- Keep as gift: you receive a gift copy that you can give to one friend on the server. A gift copy cannot be sold, refunded or exchanged, and a friend who declines it or does not accept it in time gives it back to you; or
- Refund: you receive a share of the crate key's Stardust price: 20% for a Particle, 30% for a Radiant, 40% for a Pulsar, 60% for a Quasar and 100% for an Event Horizon duplicate (rounded half up). A refund never exceeds the price of the key.
A duplicate can be refunded or kept as a gift, not both, and only once.
Buying cosmetics directly
Cosmetics are bought with Stardust only. Cosmetics available through the crate system may also be offered for direct purchase. Some cosmetics are available only to holders of a particular rank (for example VIP and above); they are still paid for with Stardust.
Buying a cosmetic directly means purchasing that specific cosmetic instead of using a crate key for a randomized cosmetic.
Direct-purchase prices are not fixed solely by rarity. The Stardust price of an individual cosmetic may vary substantially depending on its rarity and how sought after that cosmetic is.
The price displayed for the cosmetic at the time of purchase is the price that applies to that purchase.
Crate prices
Nebulous and Celestial crate keys are purchased using Stardust.
The Stardust price of a crate key is the price displayed in the store at the time of purchase.
Crate prices may change. A price change does not change the price of a purchase that has already been completed.
